Wonder why this traveller namely David Buttle's blog is so quiet? Had he just run out of materials from his adventures? I certainly should not think so. As I last checked, he would be amongst the rain forest of South America, lovelingly bitten probably lots already by malaria mosquitos. Arrr...don't know what else to say anymore. Hence

Just been reading up on your adventures - all very inspiring! Unfortunately I have little to report on – the university of Leeds holds little culture [although the locals are a marvellous breed to watch in wonder, quite like those of Sheppey!] I was hoping to travel to Egypt this summer, but the trips has been postponed to Christmas – you’ll be a p more…

    Davey boy,

Good to hear all is going pretty much to plan. I think i speak for all readers when i say we need to read about some more daring escapades. Rent a Seagal(the master of the action thriller) film and take notes on how its done.

Speaking of Seagal, he is doing a gig in London. Debating whether to go - hopefully h more…

No offence, but 'Matt', if that is his real name, must have thought you were a nob-head, a twat and a bell end for not drinking with him. Surely though, you dalendless shid, it would have been wise to drink a couple just so he didn't drink them. Anyway, sounds like professionalism rules over there, reassuringly. Did you explain how you got your mas more…

What kind of 'traveller' doesn't sample the local pasttimes, such as burgulary, selling stolen goods in the pub and, of course, drinking? (In that order) It's a way of life for our deported friends, and it's one that they hold dear. Throw another shrimp on the Bar-b, say "g'day" and crack a Fosters for me!

    You're a nob,

    DAVE
Funny hearing your views on the package tourists who claim to be travellers. However we all know there is only one type of traveller, the young Irish caravan dwelling, scraggy type, and it is for him a spiritual journey from kentish town to london boroughs through means of the paving industry. I went home for the weekend and popped in more…

I've been looking into the flooring related employment opportunities down under, and as it happens, they can't get enough unskilled, recalcitrant, lazy and abusive warehousemen. I'm practising my 'freehanding', lechery, idleness, glutany and, I think most importantly, drunken urination on colleagues cars! My future is secured.

    As for t more…

    Exciting read Dave,

Will's fine and you'll be glad to hear he's finally given his missus the size 9. I did change course (to Psych) and all is going well, 2 more years for me, takin more…

    Hey Dave,

Just updated myself of your adventures and sounds uttlerly amazing. Really wish I had the guts (and the cash) to do what you're doing!

Am enjoying watching the sun gleaming off the roof of the Opera House through occasional flurries of snow...although my life is more than a little hectic at the moment.

    Alright dude.

Glad to hear my budding Thesbianic career meets with your approval. I've got my heart set on Channel 5 or Bravo producing a low budget, "poor man's casualty" in which I hope to play the part of an eccentric, elderly Indian consultant. Fingers crossed!

So how is Uni going, did you change course after all? What more…

Hi Dave (glad to hear all is well), As you well know I myself have a diversified past in acting. So congratulations on your Star Plus debut, you could maybe try to appear on as many national TV stations as humanly possible as you continue to travel through this very large globe. Hi Dave
Lovely write up. Yo make the place sound really attractive. I hope none of the restaurant owners were hovering around the river banks to save a trip to the market. There was a case of a similar funeral being held on the Thames many years ago. Keep up the blog, its lovely to see what you are doing.

    Hi Davie,
Very descriptive on Varanasi - I cannot say that this would make a good advertisement for the next Thompsons brochure! But this is what it's all about -seeing it all. How did your stomach stand up to the first taste of Indian cuisine? One could wonder what sort of meat you were eating, according to your write-up! (Aaagh)

Hello mate, just thought I would say hello!

Its good to see that your journey is not uneventful in the slightest. The stories of your borderline 'illegal' activities have kept me highly amused at work.
